Represent
the DPTA
The
Delaware Physical
Therapy Association represents approximately 350 physical therapists,
physical
therapists assistants and students in the Delaware area. Our leadership
in composed of an executive committee, those elected officers and
appointed
committee chairs who volunteer to keep the association running.

Vice-President: George Edelman, PT, MPT, OCS, MTC
Term
2006-2007
George was born and
raised in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. George earned his bachelors degree
at the University of Richmond, where he was a varsity athlete in both
swimming and water polo. In 1996, George earned a Masters of
Physical Therapy degree from the Institute of Physical therapy in St.
Augustine, Florida. Recently, George, along with his wife, Julia,
opened up their own private practice in Dover - Edelman
Spine & Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. |

Treasurer: Kitt Iffland, PT
Term
2008-2009
Kit is a Delaware native who graduated from Dickinson
High School. Her physical therapy education program was completed at the University
of Delaware in 1988. She has worked for Delaware Curative Physical Therapy and
Rehabilitation for 10 years, and is the director of Delaware Curative's Bear Site. Kit is a
McKenzie Certified Therapist for Mechanical Diagnosis of the Spine and is a volunteer
with the Junior League of Wilmington Special Olympics.

Einhorn, PT

Carol
Einhorn,
a New Jersey native, has been practicing in acute care since receiving
her
BS in PT from the University of Delaware. Currently she is a student
in
the transitional DPT program at Arcadia University. When she's not
studying
she enjoys traveling, reading, and being an active board member of
the Friends
of Brandywine Hundred Library.

Larkin, PT, DPT, MEd

Stacie Larkin,
a Delaware native, went to high school at St. Marks High School, class
of 1986. Received her BS in PT from Boston University, her
Masters in
Education from the University of Delaware, and her Doctor of Physical
Therapy from Widener University.. Currently the Director of Clinical Education and an Assistant Professor at the University
of Delaware
PT Program. Enjoys
skiing, in-line skating, and spending time with
husband Roger and 2 daughters: Katie and Sara.
